Outgoing Call Barring On/Off

Outgoing Call Barring On (*58) - Allows a user to switch on their outgoing call barred status.

Settings Reference: Go to Short Codes, Right Click, Select New and then follow the settings below;

  • Short Code: *58
  • Feature: Outgoing Call Barring On

  • Example: To use the short code above, the user must dial *58

    Outgoing Call Barring Off (*59*N#) - Allows a user to switch off their outgoing call bar status. The short code user must enter their log in code, if set, in order to be successful. If you add a short code using this feature to a system it is recommended that you also assign a login code to the No User > Telephony > Login Code > to prevent the short code being used to change the status of that user.

    Example: The user has a Login Code of 1234. To use the short code below, the user must dial *59*1234#.

  • Example

    A user set as a system phone can also switch off the Outgoing Call Bar status of another user. This is done using their own login code. For example the system phone 401 with login code 1234 can switch off the outgoing call bar status of extension 403 as follows:

  • *59*403*1234#
